يَسْأَلُونَكَ عَنِ الْأَنْفَالِ ۖ قُلِ الْأَنْفَالُ لِلَّهِ وَالرَّسُولِ ۖ فَاتَّقُوا اللَّهَ وَأَصْلِحُوا ذَاتَ بَيْنِكُمْ ۖ وَأَطِيعُوا اللَّهَ وَرَسُولَهُ إِنْ كُنْتُمْ مُؤْمِنِينَ (1)

THEY ASK YOU of (benefits accruing as) spoils of war. Tell them: "The benefits belong to God and His Messenger." So fulfil your duty to God and keep peace among yourselves. Obey God and the Prophet, If you really believe. Ils t'interrogent au sujet du butin. Dis: «Le butin est à Allah et à Son messager.» Craignez Allah, maintenez la concorde entre vous et obéissez à Allah et à Son messager, si vous êtes croyants.

إِنَّمَا الْمُؤْمِنُونَ الَّذِينَ إِذَا ذُكِرَ اللَّهُ وَجِلَتْ قُلُوبُهُمْ وَإِذَا تُلِيَتْ عَلَيْهِمْ آيَاتُهُ زَادَتْهُمْ إِيمَانًا وَعَلَىٰ رَبِّهِمْ يَتَوَكَّلُونَ (2)

Only they are true believers whose hearts fill up with awe when the name of God is mentioned; and their faith is further strengthened when His messages are read out to them; and those who place their trust in their Lord, Les vrais croyants sont ceux dont les cœurs frémissent quand on mentionne Allah. Et quand Ses versets leur sont récités, cela fait augmenter leur foi. Et ils placent leur confiance en leur Seigneur.

الَّذِينَ يُقِيمُونَ الصَّلَاةَ وَمِمَّا رَزَقْنَاهُمْ يُنْفِقُونَ (3)

Who are firm in devotion, and spend of what We have given them, Ceux qui accomplissent la Salât et qui dépensent [dans le sentier d'Allah] de ce que Nous leur avons attribué.

أُولَٰئِكَ هُمُ الْمُؤْمِنُونَ حَقًّا ۚ لَهُمْ دَرَجَاتٌ عِنْدَ رَبِّهِمْ وَمَغْفِرَةٌ وَرِزْقٌ كَرِيمٌ (4)

Are true believers. There are for them (high) ranks with their Lord, and pardon and noble provision. Ceux-là sont, en toute vérité les croyants: à eux des degrés (élevés) auprès de leur Seigneur, ainsi qu'un pardon et une dotation généreuse.

كَمَا أَخْرَجَكَ رَبُّكَ مِنْ بَيْتِكَ بِالْحَقِّ وَإِنَّ فَرِيقًا مِنَ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ لَكَارِهُونَ (5)

As your Lord sent you from your home (to fight) for the true cause, a section of the faithful were averse, De même, c'est au nom de la vérité que ton Seigneur t'a fait sortir de ta demeure, malgré la répulsion d'une partie des croyants.

يُجَادِلُونَكَ فِي الْحَقِّ بَعْدَمَا تَبَيَّنَ كَأَنَّمَا يُسَاقُونَ إِلَى الْمَوْتِ وَهُمْ يَنْظُرُونَ (6)

Who argued with you about the matter even after it had become quite clear, as if they were being pushed into (the arms of) death as they waited. Ils discutent avec toi au sujet de la vérité après qu'elle fut clairement apparue; comme si on les poussait vers la mort et qu'ils (la) voyaient.

وَإِذْ يَعِدُكُمُ اللَّهُ إِحْدَى الطَّائِفَتَيْنِ أَنَّهَا لَكُمْ وَتَوَدُّونَ أَنَّ غَيْرَ ذَاتِ الشَّوْكَةِ تَكُونُ لَكُمْ وَيُرِيدُ اللَّهُ أَنْ يُحِقَّ الْحَقَّ بِكَلِمَاتِهِ وَيَقْطَعَ دَابِرَ الْكَافِرِينَ (7)

Though God promised that one of two columns (would fall to you), you desired the one that was not armed. But God wished to confirm the truth by His words, and wipe the unbelievers out to the last, (Rappelez-vous), quand Allah vous promettait qu'une des deux bandes sera à vous. Vous désiriez vous emparer de celle qui était sans armes, alors qu'Allah voulait par Ses paroles faire triompher la vérité et anéantir les mécréants jusqu'au dernier.

لِيُحِقَّ الْحَقَّ وَيُبْطِلَ الْبَاطِلَ وَلَوْ كَرِهَ الْمُجْرِمُونَ (8)

So that Truth may be affirmed and falsehood negated, even though the sinners be averse. afin qu'Il fasse triompher la vérité et anéantir le faux, en dépit de la répulsion qu'en avaient les criminels.

إِذْ تَسْتَغِيثُونَ رَبَّكُمْ فَاسْتَجَابَ لَكُمْ أَنِّي مُمِدُّكُمْ بِأَلْفٍ مِنَ الْمَلَائِكَةِ مُرْدِفِينَ (9)

Remember when you prayed to your Lord for help, He heard you and said: "I shall send a thousand angels following behind you for your aid." (Et rappelez-vous) le moment où vous imploriez le secours de votre Seigneur et qu'Il vous exauça aussitôt: «Je vais vous aider d'un millier d'Anges déferlant les uns à la suite des autres.»

وَمَا جَعَلَهُ اللَّهُ إِلَّا بُشْرَىٰ وَلِتَطْمَئِنَّ بِهِ قُلُوبُكُمْ ۚ وَمَا النَّصْرُ إِلَّا مِنْ عِنْدِ اللَّهِ ۚ إِنَّ اللَّهَ عَزِيزٌ حَكِيمٌ (10)

He gave you the good news only to reassure your hearts, for victory comes from God alone, and certainly God is all-mighty and all-wise. Allah ne fit cela que pour (vous) apporter une bonne nouvelle et pour qu'avec cela vos cœurs se tranquillisent. Il n'y a de victoire que de la part d'Allah. Allah est Puissant et Sage.

إِذْ يُغَشِّيكُمُ النُّعَاسَ أَمَنَةً مِنْهُ وَيُنَزِّلُ عَلَيْكُمْ مِنَ السَّمَاءِ مَاءً لِيُطَهِّرَكُمْ بِهِ وَيُذْهِبَ عَنْكُمْ رِجْزَ الشَّيْطَانِ وَلِيَرْبِطَ عَلَىٰ قُلُوبِكُمْ وَيُثَبِّتَ بِهِ الْأَقْدَامَ (11)

A blanketing sleep came over you as a (measure of) security from Him, and He sent down rain from the skies to cleanse you, and to remove the plague of Satan, and to strengthen your hearts and steady your steps. Et quand Il vous enveloppa de sommeil comme d'une sécurité de Sa part, et du ciel Il fit descendre de l'eau sur vous afin de vous en purifier, d'écarter de vous la souillure du Diable, de renforcer les cœurs et d'en raffermir les pas! [vos pas].

إِذْ يُوحِي رَبُّكَ إِلَى الْمَلَائِكَةِ أَنِّي مَعَكُمْ فَثَبِّتُوا الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا ۚ سَأُلْقِي فِي قُلُوبِ الَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا الرُّعْبَ فَاضْرِبُوا فَوْقَ الْأَعْنَاقِ وَاضْرِبُوا مِنْهُمْ كُلَّ بَنَانٍ (12)

And the Lord said to the angels: "I am with you; go and strengthen the faithful. I shall fill the hearts of infidels with terror. So smite them on their necks and every joint, (and incapacitate them)," Et ton Seigneur révéla aux Anges: «Je suis avec vous: affermissez donc les croyants. Je vais jeter l'effroi dans les cœurs des mécréants. Frappez donc au-dessus des cous et frappez-les sur tous les bouts des doigts.

ذَٰلِكَ بِأَنَّهُمْ شَاقُّوا اللَّهَ وَرَسُولَهُ ۚ وَمَنْ يُشَاقِقِ اللَّهَ وَرَسُولَهُ فَإِنَّ اللَّهَ شَدِيدُ الْعِقَابِ (13)

For they had opposed God and His Apostle; but whosoever opposes God and his Apostle (should know) that God is severe in retribution. Ce, parce qu'ils ont désobéi à Allah et à Son messager.» Et quiconque désobéit à Allah et à Son messager... Allah est certainement dur en punition!

ذَٰلِكُمْ فَذُوقُوهُ وَأَنَّ لِلْكَافِرِينَ عَذَابَ النَّارِ (14)

For you is this (punishment) to taste, for the infidels the torment of Hell. Voilà (votre sort); goûtez-le donc! Et aux mécréants le châtiment du Feu (sera réservé).

يَا أَيُّهَا الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا إِذَا لَقِيتُمُ الَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا زَحْفًا فَلَا تُوَلُّوهُمُ الْأَدْبَارَ (15)

O believers, when you meet unbelievers on the field of battle, do not turn your backs to them. O vous qui croyez quand vous rencontrez (l'armée) des mécréants en marche, ne leur tournez point le dos.

وَمَنْ يُوَلِّهِمْ يَوْمَئِذٍ دُبُرَهُ إِلَّا مُتَحَرِّفًا لِقِتَالٍ أَوْ مُتَحَيِّزًا إِلَىٰ فِئَةٍ فَقَدْ بَاءَ بِغَضَبٍ مِنَ اللَّهِ وَمَأْوَاهُ جَهَنَّمُ ۖ وَبِئْسَ الْمَصِيرُ (16)

For any one who turns his back on that day, except to manoeuvre or rally to his side, will bring the wrath of God on himself, and have Hell as abode; and what an evil destination! Quiconque, ce jour-là, leur tourne le dos, - à moins que ce soit par tactique de combat, ou pour rallier un autre groupe, - celui-là encourt la colère d'Allah et son refuge sera l'Enfer. Et quelle mauvaise destination!

فَلَمْ تَقْتُلُوهُمْ وَلَٰكِنَّ اللَّهَ قَتَلَهُمْ ۚ وَمَا رَمَيْتَ إِذْ رَمَيْتَ وَلَٰكِنَّ اللَّهَ رَمَىٰ ۚ وَلِيُبْلِيَ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ مِنْهُ بَلَاءً حَسَنًا ۚ إِنَّ اللَّهَ سَمِيعٌ عَلِيمٌ (17)

It was not you who killed them, but God did so. You did not throw what you threw, (sand into the eyes of the enemy at Badr), but God, to bring out the best in the faithful by doing them a favour of His own. God is all-hearing and all-knowing. Ce n'est pas vous qui les avez tués: mais c'est Allah qui les a tués. Et lorsque tu lançais (une poignée de terre), ce n'est pas toi qui lançais: mais c'est Allah qui lançait, et ce pour éprouver les croyants d'une belle épreuve de Sa part! Allah est Audient et Omniscient.

ذَٰلِكُمْ وَأَنَّ اللَّهَ مُوهِنُ كَيْدِ الْكَافِرِينَ (18)

That was that, but remember God will make the plots of the unbelievers contemptible. Voilà! Allah réduit à rien la ruse des mécréants.

إِنْ تَسْتَفْتِحُوا فَقَدْ جَاءَكُمُ الْفَتْحُ ۖ وَإِنْ تَنْتَهُوا فَهُوَ خَيْرٌ لَكُمْ ۖ وَإِنْ تَعُودُوا نَعُدْ وَلَنْ تُغْنِيَ عَنْكُمْ فِئَتُكُمْ شَيْئًا وَلَوْ كَثُرَتْ وَأَنَّ اللَّهَ مَعَ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ (19)

You had asked for a judgement, so the judgement has come to you (In the form of victory for the faithful). So, if you desist it will be better for you. If you come back to it, We shall do the same, and your forces, however large, will not be of the least avail, for God is with those who believe. Si vous avez imploré l'arbitrage d'Allah vous connaissez maintenant la sentence [d'Allah] Et si vous cessez [la mécréance et l'hostilité contre le Prophète..], c'est mieux pour vous. Mais si vous revenez, Nous reviendrons, et votre masse, même nombreuse, ne vous sera d'aucune utilité. Car Allah est vraiment avec les croyants.

يَا أَيُّهَا الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا أَطِيعُوا اللَّهَ وَرَسُولَهُ وَلَا تَوَلَّوْا عَنْهُ وَأَنْتُمْ تَسْمَعُونَ (20)

O believers, obey God and His Messenger, and do not turn away from him when you hear (him speak); O vous qui croyez! Obéissez à Allah et à Son messager et ne vous détournez pas de lui quand vous l'entendez (parler).

وَلَا تَكُونُوا كَالَّذِينَ قَالُوا سَمِعْنَا وَهُمْ لَا يَسْمَعُونَ (21)

And do not be like those who say: "We have heard," but do not hear. Et ne soyez pas comme ceux qui disent: «Nous avons entendu», alors qu'ils n'entendent pas.

إِنَّ شَرَّ الدَّوَابِّ عِنْدَ اللَّهِ الصُّمُّ الْبُكْمُ الَّذِينَ لَا يَعْقِلُونَ (22)

The worst of creatures in the eyes of God are those who are deaf and dumb and devoid of sense. Les pires des bêtes auprès d'Allah, sont, [en vérité], les sourds-muets qui ne raisonnent pas.

وَلَوْ عَلِمَ اللَّهُ فِيهِمْ خَيْرًا لَأَسْمَعَهُمْ ۖ وَلَوْ أَسْمَعَهُمْ لَتَوَلَّوْا وَهُمْ مُعْرِضُونَ (23)

If God had seen any good in them He would surely have made them hear. Now even if He makes them hear they will turn away (in obduracy). Et si Allah avait reconnu en eux quelque bien, Il aurait fait qu'ils entendent. Mais, même s'Il les faisait entendre, ils tourneraient [sûrement] le dos en s'éloignant.

يَا أَيُّهَا الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا اسْتَجِيبُوا لِلَّهِ وَلِلرَّسُولِ إِذَا دَعَاكُمْ لِمَا يُحْيِيكُمْ ۖ وَاعْلَمُوا أَنَّ اللَّهَ يَحُولُ بَيْنَ الْمَرْءِ وَقَلْبِهِ وَأَنَّهُ إِلَيْهِ تُحْشَرُونَ (24)

O believers, respond to the call of God and His Prophet when he calls you to what will give you life (and preservation). Remember that God intervenes between man and his heart, and that you will be gathered before Him. O vous qui croyez! Répondez à Allah et au Messager lorsqu'il vous appelle à ce qui vous donne la (vraie) vie, et sachez qu'Allah s'interpose entre l'homme et son cœur, et que c'est vers Lui que vous serez rassemblés.

وَاتَّقُوا فِتْنَةً لَا تُصِيبَنَّ الَّذِينَ ظَلَمُوا مِنْكُمْ خَاصَّةً ۖ وَاعْلَمُوا أَنَّ اللَّهَ شَدِيدُ الْعِقَابِ (25)

Beware of sedition, which does not affect the oppressors alone among you, and know that the punishment of God is severe. Et craignez une calamité qui n'affligera pas exclusivement les injustes d'entre vous. Et sachez qu'Allah est dur en punition.

وَاذْكُرُوا إِذْ أَنْتُمْ قَلِيلٌ مُسْتَضْعَفُونَ فِي الْأَرْضِ تَخَافُونَ أَنْ يَتَخَطَّفَكُمُ النَّاسُ فَآوَاكُمْ وَأَيَّدَكُمْ بِنَصْرِهِ وَرَزَقَكُمْ مِنَ الطَّيِّبَاتِ لَعَلَّكُمْ تَشْكُرُونَ (26)

Remember, when you were few and powerless in the land, afraid of despoliation at the hands of men. But then God sheltered and helped you to strength, and provided for you good things that you may perhaps be grateful. Et rappelez-vous quand vous étiez peu nombreux, opprimés sur terre, craignant de vous faire enlever par des gens. Il vous donna asile, vous renforça de Son secours et vous attribua de bonnes choses afin que vous soyez reconnaissants.

يَا أَيُّهَا الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا لَا تَخُونُوا اللَّهَ وَالرَّسُولَ وَتَخُونُوا أَمَانَاتِكُمْ وَأَنْتُمْ تَعْلَمُونَ (27)

O you who believe, do not be faithless to God and His Apostle, nor violate your trusts knowingly. O vous qui croyez! Ne trahissez pas Allah et le Messager. Ne trahissez pas sciemment la confiance qu'on a placée en vous?

وَاعْلَمُوا أَنَّمَا أَمْوَالُكُمْ وَأَوْلَادُكُمْ فِتْنَةٌ وَأَنَّ اللَّهَ عِنْدَهُ أَجْرٌ عَظِيمٌ (28)

Know that your worldly possessions and your children are just a temptation, and that God has greater rewards with Him. Et sachez que vos biens et vos enfants ne sont qu'une épreuve et qu'auprès d'Allah il y a une énorme récompense.

يَا أَيُّهَا الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا إِنْ تَتَّقُوا اللَّهَ يَجْعَلْ لَكُمْ فُرْقَانًا وَيُكَفِّرْ عَنْكُمْ سَيِّئَاتِكُمْ وَيَغْفِرْ لَكُمْ ۗ وَاللَّهُ ذُو الْفَضْلِ الْعَظِيمِ (29)

O believers, if you follow the path shown by God, He will give you a standard (of right and wrong), and overlook your sins, and forgive you. God is abounding in benevolence. O vous qui croyez! Si vous craignez Allah, Il vous accordera la faculté de discerner (entre le bien et le mal), vous effacera vos méfaits et vous pardonnera. Et Allah est le Détenteur de l'énorme grâce.

وَإِذْ يَمْكُرُ بِكَ الَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا لِيُثْبِتُوكَ أَوْ يَقْتُلُوكَ أَوْ يُخْرِجُوكَ ۚ وَيَمْكُرُونَ وَيَمْكُرُ اللَّهُ ۖ وَاللَّهُ خَيْرُ الْمَاكِرِينَ (30)

Remember, when the infidels contrived to make you a prisoner or to murder or expel you, they plotted, but God also planned; and God's plan is the best. (Et rappelle-toi) le moment où les mécréants complotaient contre toi pour t'emprisonner ou t'assassiner ou te bannir. Ils complotèrent. mais Allah a fait échouer leur complot, et Allah est le meilleur en stratagèmes.

وَإِذَا تُتْلَىٰ عَلَيْهِمْ آيَاتُنَا قَالُوا قَدْ سَمِعْنَا لَوْ نَشَاءُ لَقُلْنَا مِثْلَ هَٰذَا ۙ إِنْ هَٰذَا إِلَّا أَسَاطِيرُ الْأَوَّلِينَ (31)

When Our messages were read out to them, they said: "We have heard. We could certainly compose (writings) like them if we choose. They are but only tales of long ago." Et lorsque Nos versets leur sont récités, ils disent: «Nous avons écouté, certes! Si nous voulions, nous dirions pareil à cela, ce ne sont que des légendes d'anciens.»

وَإِذْ قَالُوا اللَّهُمَّ إِنْ كَانَ هَٰذَا هُوَ الْحَقَّ مِنْ عِنْدِكَ فَأَمْطِرْ عَلَيْنَا حِجَارَةً مِنَ السَّمَاءِ أَوِ ائْتِنَا بِعَذَابٍ أَلِيمٍ (32)

They had also said: "If this be the truth from you, O God, then rain down on us stones from the skies, or inflict a grievous punishment upon us." Et quand ils dirent: «O Allah, si cela est la vérité de Ta part, alors, fais pleuvoir du ciel des pierres sur nous, ou fais venir sur nous un châtiment douloureux».

وَمَا كَانَ اللَّهُ لِيُعَذِّبَهُمْ وَأَنْتَ فِيهِمْ ۚ وَمَا كَانَ اللَّهُ مُعَذِّبَهُمْ وَهُمْ يَسْتَغْفِرُونَ (33)

But God would not choose to punish them while you are in their midst, nor afflict them when they are seeking forgiveness. Allah n'est point tel qu'Il les châtie, alors que tu es au milieu d'eux. Et Allah n'est point tel qu'il les châtie alors qu'Ils demandent pardon.

وَمَا لَهُمْ أَلَّا يُعَذِّبَهُمُ اللَّهُ وَهُمْ يَصُدُّونَ عَنِ الْمَسْجِدِ الْحَرَامِ وَمَا كَانُوا أَوْلِيَاءَهُ ۚ إِنْ أَوْلِيَاؤُهُ إِلَّا الْمُتَّقُونَ وَلَٰكِنَّ أَكْثَرَهُمْ لَا يَعْلَمُونَ (34)

But what is there so special they have that God should not punish them when they obstruct people from the Holy Mosque, though they are not its (appointed) guardians? Its guardians could be only those who are pious and devout. But most of them do not know. Qu'ont-ils donc pour qu'Allah ne les châtie pas, alors qu'ils repoussent (les croyants) de la Mosquée sacrée, quoiqu'ils n'en soient pas les gardiens, car ses gardiens ne sont que les pieux. Mais la plupart d'entre eux ne le savent pas.

وَمَا كَانَ صَلَاتُهُمْ عِنْدَ الْبَيْتِ إِلَّا مُكَاءً وَتَصْدِيَةً ۚ فَذُوقُوا الْعَذَابَ بِمَا كُنْتُمْ تَكْفُرُونَ (35)

Their worship in the House of God has been no more than whistling and clapping. So they have to taste the punishment for disbelief. Et leur prière, auprès de la Maison, n'est que sifflement et battements de mains: «Goûtez donc au châtiment, à cause de votre mécréance!»

إِنَّ الَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا يُنْفِقُونَ أَمْوَالَهُمْ لِيَصُدُّوا عَنْ سَبِيلِ اللَّهِ ۚ فَسَيُنْفِقُونَهَا ثُمَّ تَكُونُ عَلَيْهِمْ حَسْرَةً ثُمَّ يُغْلَبُونَ ۗ وَالَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا إِلَىٰ جَهَنَّمَ يُحْشَرُونَ (36)

Those who disbelieve spend their possessions on turning men away from God. They will go on spending and rue it in the end, and will be subdued. But those who remain disbelievers shall be gathered into Hell Ceux qui ne croient pas dépensent leurs biens pour éloigner (les gens) du sentier d'Allah. Or, après les avoir dépensés, ils seront pour eux un sujet de regret. Puis ils seront vaincus, et tous ceux qui ne croient pas seront rassemblés vers l'Enfer,

لِيَمِيزَ اللَّهُ الْخَبِيثَ مِنَ الطَّيِّبِ وَيَجْعَلَ الْخَبِيثَ بَعْضَهُ عَلَىٰ بَعْضٍ فَيَرْكُمَهُ جَمِيعًا فَيَجْعَلَهُ فِي جَهَنَّمَ ۚ أُولَٰئِكَ هُمُ الْخَاسِرُونَ (37)

That God may separate the bad from the good, and link the wicked together and cast them into Hell. These are verily the people who will lose. afin qu'Allah distingue le mauvais du bon, et qu'Il place les mauvais les uns sur les autres, pour en faire un amoncellement qu'Il jettera dans l'Enfer. Ceux-là sont les perdants.

قُلْ لِلَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا إِنْ يَنْتَهُوا يُغْفَرْ لَهُمْ مَا قَدْ سَلَفَ وَإِنْ يَعُودُوا فَقَدْ مَضَتْ سُنَّتُ الْأَوَّلِينَ (38)

You tell the unbelievers in case they desist whatever has happened will be forgiven them. If they persist, they should remember the fate of those who have gone before them. Dis à ceux qui ne croient pas que, s'ils cessent, on leur pardonnera ce qui s'est passé. Et s'ils récidivent, (ils seront châtiés); à l'exemple de (leurs) devanciers.

وَقَاتِلُوهُمْ حَتَّىٰ لَا تَكُونَ فِتْنَةٌ وَيَكُونَ الدِّينُ كُلُّهُ لِلَّهِ ۚ فَإِنِ انْتَهَوْا فَإِنَّ اللَّهَ بِمَا يَعْمَلُونَ بَصِيرٌ (39)

So, fight them till all opposition ends, and obedience is wholly God's. If they desist then verily God sees all they do. Et combattez-les jusqu'à ce qu'il ne subsiste plus d'association, et que la religion soit entièrement à Allah. Puis, s'ils cessent (ils seront pardonnés car) Allah observe bien ce qu'ils œuvrent.

وَإِنْ تَوَلَّوْا فَاعْلَمُوا أَنَّ اللَّهَ مَوْلَاكُمْ ۚ نِعْمَ الْمَوْلَىٰ وَنِعْمَ النَّصِيرُ (40)

But if they are obstinate, know that God is your helper and protector: How excellent a helper, and how excellent a protector is He! Et s'ils tournent le dos, sachez alors qu'Allah est votre Maître. Quel excellent Maître et quel excellent Protecteur!

وَاعْلَمُوا أَنَّمَا غَنِمْتُمْ مِنْ شَيْءٍ فَأَنَّ لِلَّهِ خُمُسَهُ وَلِلرَّسُولِ وَلِذِي الْقُرْبَىٰ وَالْيَتَامَىٰ وَالْمَسَاكِينِ وَابْنِ السَّبِيلِ إِنْ كُنْتُمْ آمَنْتُمْ بِاللَّهِ وَمَا أَنْزَلْنَا عَلَىٰ عَبْدِنَا يَوْمَ الْفُرْقَانِ يَوْمَ الْتَقَى الْجَمْعَانِ ۗ وَاللَّهُ عَلَىٰ كُلِّ شَيْءٍ قَدِيرٌ (41)

Know that one-fifth of what you acquire as booty (of war) is for God and His Apostle, and for relatives and orphans, the poor and wayfarers, if you truly believe in God and what We revealed to Our votary on the day of victory over the infidels when the two armies clashed (at Badr). For God has the power to do any thing. Et sachez que, de tout butin que vous avez ramassé, le cinquième appartient à Allah, au messager, à ses proches parents, aux orphelins, aux pauvres, et aux voyageurs (en détresse), si vous croyez en Allah et en ce que Nous avons fait descendre sur Notre serviteur, le jour du Discernement: le jour où les deux groupes s'étaient rencontrés, et Allah est Omnipotent.

إِذْ أَنْتُمْ بِالْعُدْوَةِ الدُّنْيَا وَهُمْ بِالْعُدْوَةِ الْقُصْوَىٰ وَالرَّكْبُ أَسْفَلَ مِنْكُمْ ۚ وَلَوْ تَوَاعَدْتُمْ لَاخْتَلَفْتُمْ فِي الْمِيعَادِ ۙ وَلَٰكِنْ لِيَقْضِيَ اللَّهُ أَمْرًا كَانَ مَفْعُولًا لِيَهْلِكَ مَنْ هَلَكَ عَنْ بَيِّنَةٍ وَيَحْيَىٰ مَنْ حَيَّ عَنْ بَيِّنَةٍ ۗ وَإِنَّ اللَّهَ لَسَمِيعٌ عَلِيمٌ (42)

(That day) when you were at one end of the valley, (the unbelievers) at the other, and the caravan below you (on the lowland by the coast), you would surely have declined to fight if (the Makkans) had offered you battle. (But the battle did take place) that God may end the matter which had been accomplished, so that he who had to die may perish after a clear demonstration, and he who had to live may survive in the light of positive proof, for God hears all and knows everything. Vous étiez sur le versant le plus proche, et eux (les ennemis) sur le versant le plus éloigné, tandis que la caravane était plus bas que vous. Si vous vous étiez donné rendez-vous, vous l'auriez manqué (effrayés par le nombre de l'ennemi). Mais il fallait qu'Allah accomplît un ordre qui devait être exécuté, pour que, sur preuve, pérît celui qui (devait) périr, et vécût, sur preuve, celui qui (devait) vivre. Et certes Allah est Audient et Omniscient.

إِذْ يُرِيكَهُمُ اللَّهُ فِي مَنَامِكَ قَلِيلًا ۖ وَلَوْ أَرَاكَهُمْ كَثِيرًا لَفَشِلْتُمْ وَلَتَنَازَعْتُمْ فِي الْأَمْرِ وَلَٰكِنَّ اللَّهَ سَلَّمَ ۗ إِنَّهُ عَلِيمٌ بِذَاتِ الصُّدُورِ (43)

God showed (the Makkans) to be few in your dream, for if He had shown them to be many you would surely have lost courage and disagreed about the (wisdom) of the battle. But God spared you this, for He surely knows what is in the hearts of men. En songe, Allah te les avait montrés peu nombreux! Car s'Il te les avait montrés nombreux, vous auriez certainement fléchi, et vous vous seriez certainement disputés à propos de l'affaire. Mais Allah vous en a préservés. Il connait le contenu des cœurs.

وَإِذْ يُرِيكُمُوهُمْ إِذِ الْتَقَيْتُمْ فِي أَعْيُنِكُمْ قَلِيلًا وَيُقَلِّلُكُمْ فِي أَعْيُنِهِمْ لِيَقْضِيَ اللَّهُ أَمْرًا كَانَ مَفْعُولًا ۗ وَإِلَى اللَّهِ تُرْجَعُ الْأُمُورُ (44)

When you faced them He made (the enemy) seem few to you in numbers, and made you appear fewer in their eyes, (it was) so that God could accomplish what had been decreed; for all things rest with God. Et aussi, au moment de la rencontre, Il vous les montrait peu nombreux à Vos yeux, de même qu'Il vous faisant paraître à leurs yeux peu nombreux afin qu'Allah parachève un ordre qui devait être exécuté. C'est à Allah que sont ramenées les choses.

يَا أَيُّهَا الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا إِذَا لَقِيتُمْ فِئَةً فَاثْبُتُوا وَاذْكُرُوا اللَّهَ كَثِيرًا لَعَلَّكُمْ تُفْلِحُونَ (45)

O believers, when you meet an army, stand firm, and think of God a great deal that you may be blessed with success. O vous qui croyez! Lorsque vous rencontrez une troupe (ennemie), soyez fermes, et invoquez beaucoup Allah afin de réussir.

وَأَطِيعُوا اللَّهَ وَرَسُولَهُ وَلَا تَنَازَعُوا فَتَفْشَلُوا وَتَذْهَبَ رِيحُكُمْ ۖ وَاصْبِرُوا ۚ إِنَّ اللَّهَ مَعَ الصَّابِرِينَ (46)

Obey God and His Apostle, and do not disagree among yourselves or you will be unmanned and lose courage. Persevere, for God is with those who endure. Et obéissez à Allah et à Son messager; et ne vous disputez pas, sinon vous fléchirez et perdrez votre force. Et soyez endurants, car Allah est avec les endurants.

وَلَا تَكُونُوا كَالَّذِينَ خَرَجُوا مِنْ دِيَارِهِمْ بَطَرًا وَرِئَاءَ النَّاسِ وَيَصُدُّونَ عَنْ سَبِيلِ اللَّهِ ۚ وَاللَّهُ بِمَا يَعْمَلُونَ مُحِيطٌ (47)

Do not be like those who went out of their homes full of their own importance, ostentatiously, trying to hinder others from the way of God. But God encompasses all they do. Et ne soyez pas comme ceux qui sortirent de leurs demeures pour repousser la vérité et avec ostentation publique, obstruant le chemin d'Allah. Et Allah cerne ce qu'ils font.

وَإِذْ زَيَّنَ لَهُمُ الشَّيْطَانُ أَعْمَالَهُمْ وَقَالَ لَا غَالِبَ لَكُمُ الْيَوْمَ مِنَ النَّاسِ وَإِنِّي جَارٌ لَكُمْ ۖ فَلَمَّا تَرَاءَتِ الْفِئَتَانِ نَكَصَ عَلَىٰ عَقِبَيْهِ وَقَالَ إِنِّي بَرِيءٌ مِنْكُمْ إِنِّي أَرَىٰ مَا لَا تَرَوْنَ إِنِّي أَخَافُ اللَّهَ ۚ وَاللَّهُ شَدِيدُ الْعِقَابِ (48)

Satan made their deeds look alluring to them, and said: "None will prevail over you this day, for I shall be near at hand." Yet when the two armies appeared face to face, he turned back and fled, saying: "I am not with you, for I can see what you cannot perceive. I fear God, for His punishment is severe." Et quand le Diable leur eut embelli leurs actions et dit: «Nul parmi les humains ne peut vous dominer aujourd'hui, et je suis votre soutien.» Mais, lorsque les deux groupes furent en vue l'un de l'autre, il tourna les deux talons et dit: «Je vous désavoue. Je vois ce que vous ne voyez pas; je crains Allah, et Allah est dur en punition».

إِذْ يَقُولُ الْمُنَافِقُونَ وَالَّذِينَ فِي قُلُوبِهِمْ مَرَضٌ غَرَّ هَٰؤُلَاءِ دِينُهُمْ ۗ وَمَنْ يَتَوَكَّلْ عَلَى اللَّهِ فَإِنَّ اللَّهَ عَزِيزٌ حَكِيمٌ (49)

The hypocrites, and those who had doubts in their hearts, said: "Their faith has misled them." But whoever places his trust in God will find God mighty and wise. (Et rappelez-vous), quand les hypocrites et ceux qui ont une maladie au cœur [dont la foi est douteuse] disaient: «Ces gens-là, leur religion les trompe.» Mais quiconque place sa confiance en Allah (sera victorieux)... car Allah est Puissant et Sage.

وَلَوْ تَرَىٰ إِذْ يَتَوَفَّى الَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا ۙ الْمَلَائِكَةُ يَضْرِبُونَ وُجُوهَهُمْ وَأَدْبَارَهُمْ وَذُوقُوا عَذَابَ الْحَرِيقِ (50)

If you could only see the infidels as the angels draw away their souls and strike their faces and their backs, (saying): "Taste the torment of burning Si tu voyais, lorsque les Anges arrachaient les âmes aux mécréants! Ils les frappaient sur leurs visages et leurs derrières, (en disant): «Goûtez au châtiment du Feu.

ذَٰلِكَ بِمَا قَدَّمَتْ أَيْدِيكُمْ وَأَنَّ اللَّهَ لَيْسَ بِظَلَّامٍ لِلْعَبِيدِ (51)

For what you have brought upon yourselves." God is surely not unjust to His creatures, (they are unjust to themselves). Cela (le châtiment), pour ce que vos mains ont accompli.» Et Allah n'est point injuste envers les esclaves.

كَدَأْبِ آلِ فِرْعَوْنَ ۙ وَالَّذِينَ مِنْ قَبْلِهِمْ ۚ كَفَرُوا بِآيَاتِ اللَّهِ فَأَخَذَهُمُ اللَّهُ بِذُنُوبِهِمْ ۗ إِنَّ اللَّهَ قَوِيٌّ شَدِيدُ الْعِقَابِ (52)

Their case is like that of Pharaoh's people, and of those before them, who denied the revelations of God, and were punished for their sins by God, and God is all powerful and Severe His punishment. Il en fut de même des gens de Pharaon et ceux qui avant eux n'avaient pas cru aux signes (enseignements) d'Allah. Allah les saisit pour leurs péchés. Allah est certes Fort et sévère en punition.

ذَٰلِكَ بِأَنَّ اللَّهَ لَمْ يَكُ مُغَيِّرًا نِعْمَةً أَنْعَمَهَا عَلَىٰ قَوْمٍ حَتَّىٰ يُغَيِّرُوا مَا بِأَنْفُسِهِمْ ۙ وَأَنَّ اللَّهَ سَمِيعٌ عَلِيمٌ (53)

God does not withdraw a favour bestowed upon a people unless they change themselves, for God hears all and knows everything. C'est qu'en effet Allah ne modifie pas un bienfait dont Il a gratifié un peuple avant que celui-ci change ce qui est en lui-même. Et Allah est, Audient et Omniscient.

كَدَأْبِ آلِ فِرْعَوْنَ ۙ وَالَّذِينَ مِنْ قَبْلِهِمْ ۚ كَذَّبُوا بِآيَاتِ رَبِّهِمْ فَأَهْلَكْنَاهُمْ بِذُنُوبِهِمْ وَأَغْرَقْنَا آلَ فِرْعَوْنَ ۚ وَكُلٌّ كَانُوا ظَالِمِينَ (54)

This was the case with the people of Pharaoh and those before them, who rejected the signs of their Lord and were destroyed for their sins, and We drowned the people of Pharaoh as they were oppressors. Il en fut de même des gens de Pharaon et ceux qui avant eux avaient traité de mensonges les signes (enseignements) de leur Seigneur. Nous les avons fait périr pour leurs péchés. Et Nous avons noyé les gens de Pharaon. Car ils étaient tous des injustes.

إِنَّ شَرَّ الدَّوَابِّ عِنْدَ اللَّهِ الَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا فَهُمْ لَا يُؤْمِنُونَ (55)

Verily the worst of creatures in the sight of God are those who deny (the truth), and will not believe. Les pires bêtes, auprès d'Allah, sont ceux qui ont été infidèles (dans le passé) et qui ne croient donc point (actuellement),

الَّذِينَ عَاهَدْتَ مِنْهُمْ ثُمَّ يَنْقُضُونَ عَهْدَهُمْ فِي كُلِّ مَرَّةٍ وَهُمْ لَا يَتَّقُونَ (56)

As for those with whom you have made a treaty and who abrogate it every time, and do not fear God, ceux-là mêmes avec lesquels tu as fait un pacte et qui chaque fois le rompent, sans aucune crainte [d'Allah].

فَإِمَّا تَثْقَفَنَّهُمْ فِي الْحَرْبِ فَشَرِّدْ بِهِمْ مَنْ خَلْفَهُمْ لَعَلَّهُمْ يَذَّكَّرُونَ (57)

If you meet them in battle, inflict on them such a defeat as would be a lesson for those who come after them, and that they may be warned. Donc, si tu les maîtrises à la guerre, inflige-leur un châtiment exemplaire de telle sorte que ceux qui sont derrière eux soient effarouchés. Afin qu'ils se souviennent.

وَإِمَّا تَخَافَنَّ مِنْ قَوْمٍ خِيَانَةً فَانْبِذْ إِلَيْهِمْ عَلَىٰ سَوَاءٍ ۚ إِنَّ اللَّهَ لَا يُحِبُّ الْخَائِنِينَ (58)

If you apprehend treachery from a people (with whom you have a treaty), retaliate by breaking off (relations) with them, for God does not like those who are treacherous. Et si jamais tu crains vraiment une trahison de la part d'un peuple, dénonce alors le pacte (que tu as conclu avec), d'une façon franche et loyale car Allah n'aime pas les traîtres.

وَلَا يَحْسَبَنَّ الَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا سَبَقُوا ۚ إِنَّهُمْ لَا يُعْجِزُونَ (59)

The infidels should not think that they can bypass (the law of God). Surely they cannot get away. Que les mécréants ne pensent pas qu'ils Nous ont échappé. Non, ils ne pourront jamais Nous empêcher (de les rattraper à n'importe quel moment).

وَأَعِدُّوا لَهُمْ مَا اسْتَطَعْتُمْ مِنْ قُوَّةٍ وَمِنْ رِبَاطِ الْخَيْلِ تُرْهِبُونَ بِهِ عَدُوَّ اللَّهِ وَعَدُوَّكُمْ وَآخَرِينَ مِنْ دُونِهِمْ لَا تَعْلَمُونَهُمُ اللَّهُ يَعْلَمُهُمْ ۚ وَمَا تُنْفِقُوا مِنْ شَيْءٍ فِي سَبِيلِ اللَّهِ يُوَفَّ إِلَيْكُمْ وَأَنْتُمْ لَا تُظْلَمُونَ (60)

Prepare against them whatever arms and cavalry you can muster, that you may strike terror in (the hearts of) the enemies of God and your own, and others besides them not known to you, but known to God. Whatever you spend in the way of God will be paid back to you in full, and no wrong will be done to you. Et préparez [pour lutter] contre eux tout ce que vous pouvez comme force et comme cavalerie équipée, afin d'effrayer l'ennemi d'Allah et le vôtre, et d'autres encore que vous ne connaissez pas en dehors de ceux-ci mais qu'Allah connaît. Et tout ce que vous dépensez dans le sentier d'Allah vous sera remboursé pleinement et vous ne serez point lésés.

وَإِنْ جَنَحُوا لِلسَّلْمِ فَاجْنَحْ لَهَا وَتَوَكَّلْ عَلَى اللَّهِ ۚ إِنَّهُ هُوَ السَّمِيعُ الْعَلِيمُ (61)

But if they are inclined to peace, make peace with them, and have trust in God, for He hears all and knows everything. Et s'ils inclinent à la paix, incline vers celle-ci (toi aussi) et place ta confiance en Allah, car c'est Lui l'Audient, l'Omniscient.

وَإِنْ يُرِيدُوا أَنْ يَخْدَعُوكَ فَإِنَّ حَسْبَكَ اللَّهُ ۚ هُوَ الَّذِي أَيَّدَكَ بِنَصْرِهِ وَبِالْمُؤْمِنِينَ (62)

If they try to cheat you, God is surely sufficient for you. It is He who has strengthened you with His help and with believers Et s'ils veulent te tromper, alors Allah te suffira. C'est Lui qui t'a soutenu par Son secours, ainsi que par (l'assistance) des croyants.

وَأَلَّفَ بَيْنَ قُلُوبِهِمْ ۚ لَوْ أَنْفَقْتَ مَا فِي الْأَرْضِ جَمِيعًا مَا أَلَّفْتَ بَيْنَ قُلُوبِهِمْ وَلَٰكِنَّ اللَّهَ أَلَّفَ بَيْنَهُمْ ۚ إِنَّهُ عَزِيزٌ حَكِيمٌ (63)

Whose hearts He cemented with love. You could never have united their hearts even if you had spent whatever (wealth) is in the earth; but God united them with love, for He is all-mighty and all-wise. Il a uni leurs cœurs (par la foi). Aurais-tu dépensé tout ce qui est sur terre, tu n'aurais pu unir leurs cœurs; mais c'est Allah qui les a unis, car Il est Puissant et Sage.

يَا أَيُّهَا النَّبِيُّ حَسْبُكَ اللَّهُ وَمَنِ اتَّبَعَكَ مِنَ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ (64)

God is sufficient for you, O Prophet, and the faithful who follow you. O Prophète, Allah et ceux des croyants qui te suivent te suffisent.

يَا أَيُّهَا النَّبِيُّ حَرِّضِ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ عَلَى الْقِتَالِ ۚ إِنْ يَكُنْ مِنْكُمْ عِشْرُونَ صَابِرُونَ يَغْلِبُوا مِائَتَيْنِ ۚ وَإِنْ يَكُنْ مِنْكُمْ مِائَةٌ يَغْلِبُوا أَلْفًا مِنَ الَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا بِأَنَّهُمْ قَوْمٌ لَا يَفْقَهُونَ (65)

O Prophet, urge the faithful to fight. If there are twenty among you with determination they will vanquish two hundred; and if there are a hundred then they will vanquish a thousand unbelievers, for they are people devoid of understanding. O Prophète, incite les croyants au combat. S'il se trouve parmi vous vingt endurants, ils vaincront deux cents; et s'il s'en trouve cent, ils vaincront mille mécréants, car ce sont vraiment des gens qui ne comprennent pas.

الْآنَ خَفَّفَ اللَّهُ عَنْكُمْ وَعَلِمَ أَنَّ فِيكُمْ ضَعْفًا ۚ فَإِنْ يَكُنْ مِنْكُمْ مِائَةٌ صَابِرَةٌ يَغْلِبُوا مِائَتَيْنِ ۚ وَإِنْ يَكُنْ مِنْكُمْ أَلْفٌ يَغْلِبُوا أَلْفَيْنِ بِإِذْنِ اللَّهِ ۗ وَاللَّهُ مَعَ الصَّابِرِينَ (66)

God has lightened your burden as He knows you are weak: So, if there are a hundred men of firm determination among you, they will vanquish two hundred; and if there are a thousand of you they will vanquish two thousand by the will of God, for God is with those who are determined. Maintenant, Allah a allégé votre tâche, sachant qu'il y a de la faiblesse en vous. S'il y a cent endurants parmi vous, ils vaincront deux cents; et s'il y en a mille, ils vaincront deux mille, par la grâce d'Allah. Et Allah est avec les endurants.

مَا كَانَ لِنَبِيٍّ أَنْ يَكُونَ لَهُ أَسْرَىٰ حَتَّىٰ يُثْخِنَ فِي الْأَرْضِ ۚ تُرِيدُونَ عَرَضَ الدُّنْيَا وَاللَّهُ يُرِيدُ الْآخِرَةَ ۗ وَاللَّهُ عَزِيزٌ حَكِيمٌ (67)

No apostle should take captives until he has battled and subdued the country. You desire the vanities of this world, but God wills (for you the reward) of the world to come; and God is all-mighty and all-wise. Un prophète ne devrait pas faire de prisonniers avant d'avoir prévalu [mis les mécréants hors de combat] sur la terre. Vous voulez les biens d'ici-bas, tandis qu'Allah veut l'au-delà. Allah est Puissant et Sage.

لَوْلَا كِتَابٌ مِنَ اللَّهِ سَبَقَ لَمَسَّكُمْ فِيمَا أَخَذْتُمْ عَذَابٌ عَظِيمٌ (68)

Had this not been decreed by God in advance, you would have suffered a grievous punishment for what you took (as booty). N'eût-été une prescription préalable d'Allah, un énorme châtiment vous aurait touché pour ce que vous avez pris. [de la rançon]

فَكُلُوا مِمَّا غَنِمْتُمْ حَلَالًا طَيِّبًا ۚ وَاتَّقُوا اللَّهَ ۚ إِنَّ اللَّهَ غَفُورٌ رَحِيمٌ (69)

But now use such of the spoils as are lawful and good, and fear God, for God is forgiving and kind. Mangez donc de ce qui vous est échu en butin, tant qu'il est licite et pur. Et craignez Allah, car Allah est Pardonneur et Miséricordieux.

يَا أَيُّهَا النَّبِيُّ قُلْ لِمَنْ فِي أَيْدِيكُمْ مِنَ الْأَسْرَىٰ إِنْ يَعْلَمِ اللَّهُ فِي قُلُوبِكُمْ خَيْرًا يُؤْتِكُمْ خَيْرًا مِمَّا أُخِذَ مِنْكُمْ وَيَغْفِرْ لَكُمْ ۗ وَاللَّهُ غَفُورٌ رَحِيمٌ (70)

O Prophet, tell the captives you have taken: "If God finds some good in your hearts, He will reward you with something better than was taken away from you, and forgive your sins, for God is forgiving and kind." O Prophète, dis aux captifs qui sont entre vos mains: «Si Allah sait qu'il y a quelque bien dans vos cœurs, Il vous donnera mieux que ce qui vous a été pris et vous pardonnera. Allah est Pardonneur et Miséricordieux.

وَإِنْ يُرِيدُوا خِيَانَتَكَ فَقَدْ خَانُوا اللَّهَ مِنْ قَبْلُ فَأَمْكَنَ مِنْهُمْ ۗ وَاللَّهُ عَلِيمٌ حَكِيمٌ (71)

If they try to deceive you, remember they have deceived God before. So He gave you mastery over them, for God is all-knowing and all-wise. Et s'ils veulent te trahir..., c'est qu'ils ont déjà trahi Allah [par la mécréance]; mais Il a donné prise sur eux [le jour de Badr]. Et Allah est Omniscient et Sage.

إِنَّ الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا وَهَاجَرُوا وَجَاهَدُوا بِأَمْوَالِهِمْ وَأَنْفُسِهِمْ فِي سَبِيلِ اللَّهِ وَالَّذِينَ آوَوْا وَنَصَرُوا أُولَٰئِكَ بَعْضُهُمْ أَوْلِيَاءُ بَعْضٍ ۚ وَالَّذِينَ آمَنُوا وَلَمْ يُهَاجِرُوا مَا لَكُمْ مِنْ وَلَايَتِهِمْ مِنْ شَيْءٍ حَتَّىٰ يُهَاجِرُوا ۚ وَإِنِ اسْتَنْصَرُوكُمْ فِي الدِّينِ فَعَلَيْكُمُ النَّصْرُ إِلَّا عَلَىٰ قَوْمٍ بَيْنَكُمْ وَبَيْنَهُمْ مِيثَاقٌ ۗ وَاللَّهُ بِمَا تَعْمَلُونَ بَصِيرٌ (72)

Those who accepted the faith and set out of their homes, and fought in the way of God wealth and soul, and those who gave them shelter and helped them, are friends of one another. You are not responsible for protecting those who embraced the faith but did not leave their homes, until they do so. In ease they ask for your help in the name of faith, you are duty bound to help them, except against a people with whom you have a treaty; for God sees all that you do. Ceux qui ont cru, émigré et lutté de leurs biens et de leurs personnes dans le sentier d'Allah, ainsi que ceux qui leur ont donné refuge et secours, ceux-là sont alliés les uns des autres. Quant à ceux qui ont cru et n'ont pas émigré, vous ne serez pas liés à eux, jusqu'à ce qu'ils émigrent. Et s'ils vous demandent secours au nom de la religion, à vous alors de leur porter secours, mais pas contre un peuple auquel vous êtes liés par un pacte. Et Allah observe bien ce que vous œuvrez.

وَالَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا بَعْضُهُمْ أَوْلِيَاءُ بَعْضٍ ۚ إِلَّا تَفْعَلُوهُ تَكُنْ فِتْنَةٌ فِي الْأَرْضِ وَفَسَادٌ كَبِيرٌ (73)

Those who are infidels aid one another. Unless you do the same there will be discord in the land and anarchy. Et ceux qui n'ont pas cru sont alliés les uns des autres. Si vous n'agissez pas ainsi [en rompant les liens avec les infidèles], il y aura discorde sur terre et grand désordre.

وَالَّذِينَ آمَنُوا وَهَاجَرُوا وَجَاهَدُوا فِي سَبِيلِ اللَّهِ وَالَّذِينَ آوَوْا وَنَصَرُوا أُولَٰئِكَ هُمُ الْمُؤْمِنُونَ حَقًّا ۚ لَهُمْ مَغْفِرَةٌ وَرِزْقٌ كَرِيمٌ (74)

Those who accepted the faith and abandoned their homes, and struggled in the cause of God, and those who gave them shelter and helped them, are veritably true believers. For them is forgiveness and noble sustenance. Et ceux qui ont cru, émigré et lutté dans le sentier d'Allah, ainsi que ceux qui leur ont donné refuge et porté secours, ceux-là sont les vrais croyants: à eux, le pardon et une récompense généreuse.

وَالَّذِينَ آمَنُوا مِنْ بَعْدُ وَهَاجَرُوا وَجَاهَدُوا مَعَكُمْ فَأُولَٰئِكَ مِنْكُمْ ۚ وَأُولُو الْأَرْحَامِ بَعْضُهُمْ أَوْلَىٰ بِبَعْضٍ فِي كِتَابِ اللَّهِ ۗ إِنَّ اللَّهَ بِكُلِّ شَيْءٍ عَلِيمٌ (75)

Those who accepted the faith and left their homes and fought by your side, are your brothers; yet those who are related by blood are closer to one another according to the decree of God. Verily God knows everything. Et ceux qui après cela ont cru et émigré et lutté en votre compagnie, ceux-là sont des vôtres. Cependant ceux qui sont liés par la parenté ont priorité les uns envers les autres, d'après le Livre d'Allah. Certes, Allah est Omniscient.
